Classes for both adults and children have finished for the year. We would like to take this opportunity to say a very merry Christmas and a healthy, happy New Year!  Apologies to our students. Art classes for September are cancelled because Hilda is dealing with an acute medical issue that is preventing her from teaching at present. Please watch this space for further details; we may be able to set up some social art events as a stopgap. Merry Christmas to all our students and friends. Here's to a healthy, happy, prosperous and peaceful 2025!  Work by Hera Art students will go on display from July 19 at Gallery 57 in Newport, to coincide with the city’s annual free Big Splash Festival on Saturday and Sunday July 20 & 21. The Big Splash-themed exhibition is part of Gallery 57’s contribution to the festival where visitors will also be able to take part in free arty activities for children throughout the weekend - weather permitting - outside the gallery. The exhibition will launch on Friday July 19 at 6pm. The gallery is open 9am to 5pm Tuesdays to Saturdays. On Sunday July 21 the gallery will open from 11am -4pm. The students’ work will be on display until July 31. Gallery 57 is on Upper Dock Street between the entrance to the Mercure Hotel and the 222 coffee shop. 
Come and say Hi at Gallery 57 on Friday 6pm and meet the artists of Hera Art. We will be showcasing our latest creations celebrating the Big Splash being back in Newport.
